The Arc promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.
Support Groups
The Arc takes seriously the need for up-to-date information, networking and support by families of children and adults with disabilities. Parent support groups that meet regularly can and do strengthen families by providing access to needed information and supplying opportunities to share experiences and concerns in a safe haven with others who have similar interests. The Arc currently facilitates and one parent support group. This group meets regularly.
